Day 1

•⁠ Arrival at George Airport
•⁠ Transfer and check-in at Mossel Bay — a picturesque bay where Europeans first landed while rounding the Cape of Good Hope under Bartolomeu Dias
•⁠ Evening walk by the ocean and welcome dinner in a local seaside restaurant

Days 2

•⁠ Introduction to local surf spots and safety briefing
•⁠ Surf lesson with professional instructor
•⁠ Optional: ride the world’s longest over-ocean zipline — 1,100 meters above the Indian Ocean

•⁠ Morning surf session
•⁠ Afternoon open-vehicle safari in a private game reserve with a ranger guide
•⁠ Encounter rhinos, giraffes, zebras, elephants, lions and antelopes in their natural habitat

Days 3

•⁠ Surf lesson with photo and video analysis
•⁠ Visit to The Surfer Kids and Bitcoin Ekasi community projects
•⁠ Optional visit to local townships and educational centers to meet the kids and volunteers

Days 4

•⁠ Morning surf session
•⁠ Optional activities:
  – Sandboarding on the 300 m Dragon Dune — one of the largest in South Africa
  – Tandem skydive above Mossel Bay and the Indian Ocean
  – Tandem paragliding flight over the coastline

Days 5

•⁠ Morning visit to the famous Sedgefield Farmers Market — fresh food, local crafts, and live music
•⁠ Day surf trip to Buffalo Bay inside Goukamma Nature Reserve — surfing new breaks surrounded by lush landscapes
•⁠ Lunch at a local beach restaurant

•⁠ Optional: world’s highest bungee jump from Bloukrans Bridge or a visit to the 20-million-year-old Cango Caves with stalactites and stalagmites

Arrival at George Airport (GRJ) — located on the southern coast of South Africa.

Arrival time
We recommend arriving in George on Saturday, March 29, 2026 before 18:00, as check-in and the welcome dinner will take place in the evening.

 

Departure
Return flights depart from Cape Town International Airport (CPT) on Thursday, April 10, 2026.
Check-out is by 11:00, and you can choose your preferred departure time.

 

Transfers & Transport

Airport transfers are included:
•⁠ From George Airport to Mossel Bay (arrival day)
•⁠ From Cape Town hotel to the airport (departure day)
All in-country transfers to surf spots and excursions are provided in a private, comfortable minibus with a local English-speaking driver-guide.

Q: Do I need to bring my own surfboard or wetsuit?

A: You don’t have to — all surf equipment, including boards and wetsuits, is provided and included in the price. However, if you prefer your own gear, you’re welcome to bring it.

Q: What if I’m coming alone?

A: Perfectly fine! Most participants come solo. You’ll be matched with a roommate (for double rooms), and our groups are always friendly and international — it’s a great way to meet new people.

Q: Is the camp held in English?
A: Yes, all coaching and communication will be in English.

Q: Do I need a visa for South Africa?

​A: Most travelers from Europe can enter South Africa visa-free for up to 90 days. For other nationalities, please check visa requirements in advance.

Q: Can I get a private room?

A: Yes, a limited number of single rooms are available for an additional fee. Please request this when booking.

Q: Is this trip suitable for beginners?

A: Yes! The program is designed for all levels — from complete beginners to intermediate surfers. Coaches adapt lessons individually, ensuring everyone progresses at their own pace.
